      The typical use mode of FFU filter is that the fresh air is treated by the fresh air conditioner the required state point, and sent it to the clean room. After mixing with the return air in the static pressure box, it is pressurized by the fan of zjnf-ffu and sent to the room through HEPA or ULPA, and then returned to the dry coil through the raised floor or side wall. After cold (hot) treatment, it is sent back to the static pressure box through the return compressor to complete the circulation. Such systems are often used in clean rooms with ultra clean requirements, such as the manufacturing of large integrated circuit wafers, cutting-edge displays, such as TFT, PDP, hard disk, etc. This FFU system has many advantages. To put it simply, there are six points:

1. The system is very flexible and can be adjusted at any time

      Because the wall panels of the clean room are arranged with the modulus of the ceiling grid (such as 1200x600), and due to its special node structure, the position of the wall panels of the clean room can be adjusted at any time to change the layout of the room. At the same time, if the cleanliness of the room needs to be adjusted, it can be realized by increasing or decreasing the number of FFUs. This is almost impossible for purification systems that require centralized air supply.

2. Uniform and stable of air outlet

      FFU has its own fan, so the air outlet is uniform and stable. The problem of air volume balance at each air supply outlet of the centralized air supply system is avoided. It is particularly advantageous for the vertical unidirectional flow clean room.

3. Energy saving

      There are few air ducts in FFU system. Except that fresh air is delivered by air duct, a large number of return air operates in a small cycle, so the resistance consumption of air duct is greatly reduced. At the same time, because the surface wind speed of FFU is generally 0.35 ~ 0.45m/s, the resistance of HEPA filter is small, and the power of shell less fan of FFU is very small, the new FFU adopts high-efficiency motor, and the shape of fan impeller is also improved, and its comprehensive efficiency is greatly improved. The FFU system can generally save more than 30% energy than the purification system with centralized air supply, so that the FFU system can save the increased initial investment (compared with the purification system with centralized air supply) within two or three years by saving electricity charges.

4. Save space

      Because the huge supply and return air duct is omitted, the installation space can be saved. It is very suitable for reconstruction projects with tight storey height. Another advantage is that the construction period is shortened because there are few air ducts and the space is relatively spacious.

5. Reasonable layout of tuyere, lamps, smoke detector, spray, electrostatic neutralizer, etc

      These common devices in clean rooms have their own installation ceiling grid positions, which are reasonable and beautiful. In the centralized air supply purification system, the layout of these devices often conflict, and the ceiling appears crowded.

6. Negative pressure seal

      The static pressure box of FFU air supply system is negative pressure, so even if there is leakage in the installation of air outlet, it will leak from the clean room to the static pressure box, which will not pollute the clean room.

      FFU system also has disadvantages: due to large number of fans and high probability of failure. And because the FFU is arranged on the ceiling, it is difficult to maintain. The centralized air system is easy to maintain because of its centralized equipment and small quantity. But this is not entirely a disadvantage: the FFU system is scattered because of its large number. Usually, a small number of FFUs fail, which can not cause serious damage to the cleanliness. It can even find and repair faulty units with little impact on cleanliness. As long as one centralized air supply system fails, it will stop the operation of a large area of clean rooms, which will have a great impact on production. In almost all projects, the refrigerator, air compressor, pure water equipment, water pump and vacuum pump can be backed up to minimize the impact of equipment failure on life. Only the backup of the air conditioner is almost useless. FFU system achieves this goal to some extent.
